Care Bancales (Red) - Cariñena (750 ml)
Varieties: Vinified with 80% Garnacha (80 year old vines) and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon (25 year old vines).
Vinified: The first step is a pre-fermentation cold maceration of 7 days at 10 ºC. The fermentation takes place in truncated conical stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 29 ºC. After the alcoholic fermentation, the wine macerates with the skins for 21 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in the tanks.
Ageing: The wine is aged in French and American oak barrels for 14 months. The age of the barrels never exceeds 3 years. During this period, the wine is racked 3 times. Finally, the wine is aged in the bottle for 17 months before being released.
Tasting note: The wine displays an attractive red colour with layers. Bright colour. Clean powerful aromas of ripe red and black fruits with layers. On the finish, the wine is rich, elegant, powerful and fruit driven.
Serving Temperature: Between 16 and 18 ºC. Decanting is recommended.
