Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese (PDO) - Zanasi (1 kg)
Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese by Zanasi (1 kg)
Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese is named after the producing areas, which comprise several provinces in the north of Italy, including Reggio Emilia, Parma and Modena, with production of this cheese dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries.
This cheese, often referred to as the 'King of Cheeses', is made using unpasteurized milk from cows in the region that have been fed only on grass or hay.
Parmigiano Reggiano has Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status.
It is often grated over pasta dishes, stirred into risottos and soups, and eaten on its own or with balsamic vinegar drizzled on top.
